Growkit Ecuadorian: how to care for the kit after delivery
The Ecuadorian grow kit from MushLove.pl is a substrate colonised by mycelium. All kits sold by MushLove.pl are intended exclusively for microscopic research and identification purposes. Below we describe how to handle the kit after delivery.
Step 1.
Work in conditions that are as sterile as possible. Wash your hands thoroughly before every contact with the kit, and preferably wear latex gloves disinfected with spirit. Clean the outside of the kit with a dry cloth.
Step 2.
Place the kit somewhere out of direct sunlight. The temperature there should stay within the range of 2-26 degrees Celsius at all times.
Step 3.
The kit is ready on delivery. Do not add water to the box with the mycelium.
CAUTION: If you are in a country where microscopic examination of mycelium is allowed but growing mushrooms containing psilocybin is prohibited (e.g. in Poland), immediately stop the research, pour fungicide over the box and permanently destroy the substrate with the mycelium.
