Golden Teacher Growkit (Psilocybe Cubensis)

Golden Teacher MushLove.pl is a genus of psilocybin mushroom known for its beautiful golden brown appearance and general popularity among mycological researchers. Iconic golden brown broad hats and long and thin stems. This strain is known to grow in particularly large bushes in the wild. Compared to other varieties of psilocybe cubensis mushrooms, the Golden Teacher has a larger body size and is much more elegant and unique in appearance. In general, Golden Teacher mushrooms have caps that reach around five centimetres in diameter at maturity. They grow very well in less than ideal conditions in the wild.

These spores are ideal for beginners as they are easy to work with and are particularly hardy. This variety is widely loved by researchers and is one of the most popular types of psilocybin mushrooms in existence today. Our kit is an excellent choice for budding mycological researchers, as the different parts of the fungus are fascinating and beautiful to look at under the microscope

The Golden Teacher has a mysterious origin. Many believe that the first colonised Golden Teacher mushroom was found in the wilds of Florida in the 1980s. Some believe that the Golden Teacher variety is actually a type of Hawaiian PES, which was renamed by a Dutch researcher many years ago. However, there is no known evidence as to the true origin of Golden Teacher mushrooms.

Potency: the potency of Golden Teacher mushrooms varies considerably, although they are well known to be generally moderate.

The Growkit Golden Teacher contains everything you need to do your own research. In addition to the mycelium, the kit includes a plastic bag with air filters and 2 clips for the grow bag. The Growkit Golden Teacher can be stored in the fridge for approximately 2 months. However, it has a limited shelf life outside the fridge.

We would like to remind you that the cultivation of Psilocybe cubensis fruiting bodies or any other psilocybin mushrooms is prohibited by law in Poland. Characteristics

Cap: 1. 5-8 (10) cm wide, broadly conical or oval or bell-shaped when young, gradually expanding to convex, broadly umbonate or flat; surface smooth or with small whitish remnants of veil when young, sticky when moist, soon dries, colour variable: whitish with brown to yellowish centre, or entirely yellow to yellowish brown, or sometimes cinnamon-brown when young, and sometimes dull olive in old age; bluish blue and ageing; margin sometimes fringed with veil remnants. Flesh firm, white, discolouring blue or blue-green when bruised.

Spore print: dark purple-brown to black; spores 11-17x7-12 microns, elliptical, smooth, thick-walled, with a large apical germ pore. Cystidia present on gill surfaces, but chrysocystidia absent.

Blueness: blue or blue-green

Blades: adherent to adherent or separating to free

Stem: 4-15 cm long, 0.4-1-5 cm thick, even or more often thicker below, dry, white or sometimes yellowish to yellowish brown, aging or bluish blue or bluish green; smooth.

Veil: membranous, white or bluishly coloured, usually forming a thin, brittle, superior ring on the shaft, which blackens from falling spores.

Mycelium: strongly rhizomorphic, white

Temperature: 24-27 ºC

Light requirement: not applicable
